Universal City, Calif., August 27, 2008—From the Marvel Universe of the world’s most popular Super Heroes comes the $234.6 million worldwide summer hit that fans have been waiting for as 'The Incredible Hulk' blasts onto DVD and Blu-ray Hi-Def from Universal Studios Home Entertainment and Marvel Studios on October 21, 2008. Filled with unstoppable action, spectacular visual effects, and non-stop thrills, 'The Incredible Hulk' is directed by Louis Leterrier and features an all-star cast including Academy Award® nominees Edward Norton and Tim Roth, Liv Tyler and Academy Award winner William Hurt. The visually spectacular, super-charged release will be available in three versions: a three-disc Special Edition DVD available for a limited time only; a two-disc Blu-ray release, offered in collectible 3D lenticular packaging for a limited time only; and a single-disc DVD edition.

Both the Special Edition DVD and Blu-ray releases include over two hours of bonus extras, including an exclusive, never-before-seen alternate opening and a digital copy of the film that is iPod, PC or MAC compatible. Synopsis

'Incredible Hulk' rages in China
Although the film ran its course here in the U.S. months ago, audiences in China are warming up to 'The Incredible Hulk' as a post-Olympic snack.

The movie earned 24 million yuan ($3.5 million) in its opening weekend there, according to Variety. The tally is more than double the take of 2003's Ang Lee movie.

Rätt lustigt att Incredible Hulk går bättre i Kina, medan The Dark Knight går sämre i Japan.

Universal's The Incredible Hulk debuted at No. 1 on all three charts last week.

The summer theatrical hit bumped the previous week's winner, Paramount's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, to the No. 2 position on all three charts.

"Hulk" handily took the top spot on the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart for the week ending Oct. 26, selling more than four times as many copies as the next-highest-ranked debutante, The Strangers, also from Universal, which bowed at No. 3.

"Hulk" also topped Home Media Magazine's video rental chart for the week ending Oct. 26, though in rental stores it only generated about twice as many transactions as did "Strangers," which also bowed at No. 3.

"Hulk" scored its third win on the Nielsen VideoScan Blu-ray Disc chart.

Intressant i början när dokument om både Stark Induistries och S.H.I.E.L.D passerade förbi på TVn.

Trevligt att den går bra.
Tyckte själv den var helt okej, fast jag är lite skeptisk med kopplingen Hulken och supersoldatserumet. Och det blev lite väl mycket slugfest på slutet, även om man ju hade längtat efter lite "Hulk smash!".

Måste ta och se om den här filmen. När jag såg den så gillade jag den riktigt mycket. Får se hur den har stått sig sedan biobesöket.

Var ju absolut fler blinkningar till fansen. Det vi tidigare nämnt, sen Leader, Doc Samson, supersoldatserumet...ja, en grymt massa planteringar för en framtida Avengers-film helt enkelt. Sen tycker jag nog det blev lite för mycket i slutet, men har inte sett om den än, är också nyfiken hur den håller sig en andra eller tredje tittning.

Håller på att införskaffa DVD'n med bonusmaterialet själv. Finns flertalet scener som verkar intressanta. Ska ta och se om den med några kompanjoner, förhoppningsvis till veckan.
