Dåliga översättningar

Såg just på TV, Missing, och upptäckte världens mest uppenbara felöversättning:

"they should've given me 25 years because of the coke alone"
"de skulle ha gett mig 25 år bara på grund av colan"

Hallå?! Vet inte ALLA att coke är kokain?? Eller har "cola" blivit nåt slags slang för kokain som jag inte känner till?
Vore kul att ha en tråd om roliga felöversättningar. Kommentera gärna! :D

Vill minas att kokain faktiskt kallas för "cola" ibland.... Tror att susning.nu har en sida där dom listar slanguttryck för diverse deroger fast sidan verkar ligga nere just nu.

"Cola" är faktiskt ett slangord för kokain, dock ett dåligt sådant.

Fast då stavar man det väl med "k" eftersom det är ett svenskt slanguttryck.

Man kan riktigt känna hur ångesten har gripit tag i översättarna ibland. "Mums the word" t.ex - typiskt brittisk-engelskt i stil med att hålla tyst om något. Har sett det bli "mammas är ordet" mer än en gång, speciellt på gamla 80-tals VHS av någon anledning.

Inte så himla lätt. Allt kan inte vara smooth sailing. Eller lungt seglande...... len segling?

Jag tror jag berättade om min favorit bland dåliga översättningar i en annan tråd men jag tar den ingen. :P
Från Buffy: "And the Master rose..." till "Och Mästare Ros...". :D
