TV4 Anytime
Kanal 5 Webcast

Both only have swedish information and both are pay-tv.

Then we have SvT Open Archive (Öppet Arkiv) with contains a lot of older programs. (That service are free).

Was that what you were looking for?

Hmm. Haven't heard anything about liveshows. There still a lot of fuss about 'webcasting' here. :)

heh 1st show i opened up was... Saltholmens nakenbad
mycket svenska och mycket gamla damer,

what is pay TV?

Im also a DJ in Dallas-forthworth area, im looking for Swedish music thats in swedish or swedish tunes and english lyrics.
as long as eather one is swedish, ive played my listners to death with Ultima thule and simmular most singers are trying to cope the US music, witch is one of the worst mistakes ever as american rip rap music is flushed and wiped compared to the good ol swedish tunes.

if someone got a few titles please tell me the name of the artists and songs if you dont mind

what is pay TV?

You have to pay for it. 'Betal TV' as it's known as here. A small amount per episode (accessible for 14 days) or a little more for everything a whole month.

Swedish music? Is it more music like ultima thule you're after or simply new music in swedish? :) Is it supposed to dancable or is it just anything?

Edit: I forgot to mention that TV4 and SvT has clips on there webpages but I don't think it's whole shows.

Anything thats swedish in eather music and or song
dance, disco, swamp pop, pop, oldtime, pretty much anythign goes,
anything but "polka" and simmular no one wants to hear the crappy stuff heh

of course i play alot of american songs too, but people in the states like swedish in general
they call it the sexy language, "with blonde sexy womens" Shh....

naa, to keep it real, people like the swedish tunes specialy the cajun-country girls and gals
if y'all have anything that's good and swedish ill play it, even if its your friends coverband
atleast your friend can say... " ive been on the Radio in the states! " heh

I mainly play exept swedish music, Swamp Pop and Country.... or actualy, just alittle swedish music
mainly cause of the lack of matereal, i do not... play rap, soul, too heavy metal, stupid songs
and nor do i play music that might upset listners... I dont play cristian songs, even though 20 to 30% of my listners are cristian's, but on my air time im the boss, i pick what goes on the air

Love Y'all,

Swedish music with the lyrics in English? There's an almost unlimited supply for you right there. Depends on what genres you want.

A few suggestions:

Hammerfall - heavy metal
BWO (or Bodies Without Organs), Roxette - bubblegum pop, radio hits ;)
The Cardigans (with singer Nina Persson), The Ceasars - sort of indie music
Infinite Mass, Jennifer Brown - soul/funk
Eric Gadd - white soul (he released a new album this year)

Just a few names off the top of my head, but I'm sure we can supply you with many more if you want.

Welcome to the forum, btw! :)

The Cardigans is already played to death here in the states, but im going to look into Eric Gadd, that might be a gold mine right there, Infinite mass, jennifer brown? ain't that already american junk music?

here is a short list of Swamp Pop music, i just figured out no one in Sweden knows what it is
It's Cajun music *banjo, Fiddle, Texas+Lousiana+Mississippi music mix*
ill post a few songs here, try to download and listen if you like it, it is real good music

Doug Kershaw - Cajun Swamp Pop
Jonny Cash - Personal Jesus
Mary Chapin Carpenter - Louisiana Saturday Night
Alabama - Louisiana Saturday Night
Charles Mann - Red Red Wine
Eddie Raven - Dont Mess With My Toot Toot

or if you like alittle newer songs

Tracy Byrd - We're From the Country
Toby Keith - I Love This Bar
Hank Williams Jr - Family Tradition

Mainly i play more of the older ones, cause they play alot of the newer ones on stations like The Wolf, Lonestar State, The Eagle and Cajun Heart

let me know how you like them, i recomend Eddie Raven and Toby Keith if you dont want to download all of them heh

oh btw, with Swedish music with the lyrics in English i mean music that sounds like *den blomster tid now kommer* sounds like that that kinda point out the swedish that you cant find in american music

I got good responce on Eddie Meduza songs he sings in English
Unfortunatly my resourses on his music is limited
if someone got old songs somewhere, old CD's
or any of his music, even the talk shows on or can make it into
Mp3's that would be awesome, Y'all have been a good help and asset
I will check up on Kent and Wilmer X, when I played Lill Lindfors on the air
we got good responce, Still as mentioned before, this is the hick area of Texas
witch means our listners are Hillbillys and Cowboys they of course get to hear
the music they are used to, but i like to spice it up a little with Swedish music
American nationalistic music.

Kicki Danielson (older tracks) and Jill Johnsson sings some country-flavoured music. (And there's some to find in the 'Dansbands'-genre.)

Maybe Veronica Maggio (only released two singels yet so far) suits? Her music is in style with Lill Lindfors. 'Kolportörerna' is one of my favourites.
