The third season opener of the NBC series will reportedly be making its debut during Comic Con 2008.
The con has been a popular venue for the show for the last two years. Last years' HEROES panel was overflowing with fans trying to catch a glimpse of the cast!
After a somewhat disappointing second season, the showrunners plan to release goodies over the summer to convince the fans they are back and better than ever.
''We have to show our wares,'' says exec producer Tim Kring, ''If getting buzz means spoiling some things, I'll take buzz any day.''
Although it's not set in stone, Kring hopes to screen the Sept. 22 season premiere of HEROES at San Diego Comic Con 2008 in July.

SHH - Francis Capra Joins Heroes
Source: TV Guide on June 9, 2008
TV Guide reports that Francis Capra will reunite with his former "Veronica Mars" star Kristen Bell on "Heroes":
Who or what is Jesse? Not much (including his power) is being revealed, but thus far I've found out two things: One, TV's former Weevil is playing evil, and two, his villainous storyline will find him crossing paths with Peter Petrelli .
"Heroes'" third season kicks-off on Monday, September 22.

TV.com: Heroes' fourth volume named
Series creator Tim Kring lets slip the title of the next chapter of NBC’s sci-fi hit, and it signals interesting times for our super friends.
The third chapter of Heroes has yet to begin, but anticipation is already palpable for it (TV.com previewed the excellent first-half of the debut), largely in part to its mouth-watering title "Villains."
The straight-forward names of the volumes have always been a good indicator of what's in store for that chapter. Season one gave us "Genesis," which appropriately detailed the beginnings of these "ordinary people with extraordinary abilities." Season two was named "Generations," and focused on the family trees of the super-powered characters.
Everyone loves to hate a good baddie, and "Villains" will go with the flow and examine how people use their new-found powers for evil. But the third season will be more than just one chapter and is going to be split up into seperate volumes (just as season two was supposed to before the writers strike cut things short).
So what's it called? Tighten up your spandex costumes, because it sounds like things may not be looking too good for Claire, Peter, Hiro, and the other freaks of nature. Speaking with UK site Digital Spy (video courtesy of ODI and contains slight spoilers as well as funny accents) at the Edinburgh Television Festival, series creator Tim Kring revealed that "Villains" will run 13 episodes and that the second-half of the season will run 12 episodes and be dubbed…"Fugitives." Don't bother pulling out your calculators--that's a 25-episode season three.
Kring shied away from detailing what volume four would be about, saying that even if he explained it, it wouldn't make any sense without having seen season three and would contain major spoilers for what is coming up in the series.
Kring also said that episode 10 is currently being filmed, and the final episode of "Villains" is now in the writers' hands. Season two was supposed to be three volumes, with "Villains" being the last and the second volume--which was axed because of the strike--was titled "Exodus."
Among the other tidbits Kring divulged: Echo the mailman from the "Going Postal" webisodes will appear in "Villains," Heroes: Origins isn't completely dead and Kring wants to give it another shot, and Christopher Eccleston--who played the invisible man--may be returning if his schedule allows it.

- Angela Pettrelli sylers morsa!
- Scenen med Matt i afrika när han tror att han pratar med en sköldpadda.
- Eeewww, vad händer med Mohinder?
- Vad har hänt med Nikki, tror att hon är Tracey. Frysa människor till is!

Bästa citatet fick HRG till: "Then I'm going to kill him"
Hehe, säger afrikanen Pacman eller Parkman till honom.
Lever sköldpaddor i öknen?

Sköldpaddor i öknen....var lite skumt.

Big shakeup on the staff of NBC's "Heroes" came down on Sunday with the axing of co-exec producers Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb.
Both scribe-producers had been with the show since its first season and were known to have led the day-to-day production operation under the direction of creator/exec producer Tim Kring.
"Heroes," produced by Universal Media Studios, has struggled in the ratings its third season. It's understood that Alexander and Loeb were let go because of Peacock execs' frustration with the creative direction of the show. The show is also said to have been grappling with hefty budget overruns this season, that are going well beyond its already sizable $4 million per-seg pricetag.
Reps for NBC and UMS declined comment.

/Film - Pushing Daisies Creator Bryan Fuller to Return to Heroes?
Wednesday, November 5th, 2008
When Heroes writers/producers Jeph Loeb and Jesse Alexander were ousted from the show, it was clear that series creator Tim Kring was looking to change things up.
Now Kristin dos Santos is reporting that Kring may be aiming to repeat the golden days of that first season by bringing back Bryan Fuller, an acclaimed television writer who has made a habit of creating cult shows.
Fuller created Dead Like Me (though he left due to disagreements with the show’s drection), Wonderfalls (unjustifiably cancelled by Fox), and most recently, the sweetly morbid Pushing Daisies. He was a producer throughout most of season one of Heroes, wrote two of the best episodes of the series (most notably, “Company Man”), and was also responsible for much of Claire’s plotline.
