First Look: Taylor Kitsch as Gambit in Wolverine | /Film
Empire Magazine has the first official photo of Friday Night Lights star Taylor Kitsch as Gambit in Gavin Hood’s Wolverine.


Attendees at Comic Con were lucky to see an early preview of the film which featured Gambit in action. I still think Lost star Josh Halloway would have been a better fit for the character.



Gambit first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #266 in August 1990. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artists Jim Lee and Mike Collins, Gambit is skilled in card throwing, hand-to-hand combat, the use of a b?, and possesses the ability to manipulate kinetic energy. A professional thief and self described ladies man, the character has had a longtime on and off again romantic fling with Rogue.

Wolverine will be the character’s first appearance in a movie. The fan favorite has appeared in previous television cartoons and video game releases. The character was supposed to make a small appearance during the prison convoy scene of X-Men: The Last Stand, but Marvel decided the role was too small for the character. James Franco supposedly auditioned for the part.

The Wolverine movie trailer will be attached exclusively to The Day The Earth Stood Still.

Wolverine Trailer Bootlegged | /Film
his weekend, 20th Century Fox released the trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine on prints of The Day The Earth Stood Still. As expected, the decision not to launch the trailer online has resulted in bootleg copies showing up on your favorite video sharing websites. So if you haven’t yet seen it, you have the ability to watch it in flickery youtube handicam vision.

Dels för Mr Logan är en gammal favorit och så är man nyfiken på hur filmen kommer vara mot serie tidningarna.
Själv har man hållt sig 80 och barajan av 90 talets serier eftersom jag tycker att de ärsnyggt ritat & bra handlingar.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Hot on the heals of news of a settlement in Fox's legal action against Warner Bros over WATCHMEN we get news (courtesy of the good folks at Collider) that massive reshoots are underway in Vancouver at the moment.

Not that that's totally unexpected. We heard nothing but nightmare stories about the initial round of photography. Gavin Hood had a rough time, let's just leave it at that.

But it seems that Hood is in charge of these extensive reshoots, so maybe there's some hope for the project. Gavin Hood's a good director and Jackman's great in the role, so I want this movie to work and if it takes a shitload of reshoots and Hood getting his way maybe they can save this project, which I had honestly written off.

What are your thoughts?

Varning, STOR bild

Inte för att det är nån nyhet, men Jackman ser så jäkla badass ut som Wolverine!

Förstår inte riktigt vitsen med att alla ska glo i golvet, men men.

Är väl inte så förtjust i Reynolds som Deadpool, åtminstone inte i vanligt rött linne och camo-byxor. Men man ska inte säga för mycket innan filmen kommer, I guess..

Men Kitsch ser nästintill perfa ut som Gambit. Synd att han inte verkar ha de klassiska röd-svarta ögonen i filmen, bara.

Bilden ser hemskt tuff ut, men det ser ungefär ut som de andra märkt att Wolverines kalsonger sticker ut på baksidan och att ingen törs påpeka det. Inte för att direkt kommer påverka filmen på nåt sätt, direkt.

Hmmm, påminner lite mycket om X-Men 3. Men det kanske är medvetet, eftersom det är Wolverines ansikte bakom klorna och inte ett stort X. Inte lite badass, i vilket fall som helst.

Beginning Sunday, viewers across the nation can witness the origins of one of the year's most anticipated movies, when Twentieth Century Fox debuts an exclusive, three-part reveal of X-Men Origins: Wolverine on Fox.

For this unprecedented promotional event - which is too big for one night - the studio has created three special 60-second spots, one leading into the next, and which together form a narrative. The first spot airs this Sunday (February 15) on Family Guy, the second on Monday (Feb. 16) on House M.D. and the third on Tuesday (Feb. 17) on "American Idol.

Following Tuesday's broadcast of the final spot, all three reveals will be released on Yahoo!

X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the first chapter in the X-Men saga, unites Wolverine with several other legends of the X-Men universe, in an epic revolution that pits the mutants against powerful forces determined to eliminate them.

Hugh Jackman, who reprises the role that made him a superstar, is joined by Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan, and Ryan Reynolds, as well as Taylor Kitsch, will.i.am, and Lynn Collins. Gavin Hood directs from a screenplay by David Benioff and Skip Woods (writing credit not yet final). The producers are Lauren Shuler Donner, Ralph Winter, Hugh Jackman, and John Palermo.

Yahoo! Movies has now posted all three 60-second TV spots for X-Men Origins: Wolverine titled "Outcasts," "Brothers" and "Legends." You can watch the three spots here.

Opening May 1st, the Gavin Hood-directed prequel stars Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch, Will.i.am, Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan, Daniel Henney and Lynn Collins.

Jepp. Undrar just hur de ska få in den delen. Han kan ju inte ha träffat Wolverine innan.

Ingen som har kommenterat att en råkopia av filmen har läckt ut på Internetkanalen.

Varför man skulle vilja se den förstår jag inte alls.
Hur kul kan det vara att se en film som inte är färdigredigerad. Som jag förstått det så finns inga specialeffekter med, man ser alla linor mm som används på skådespelarna och så saknas det ett antal scener.

Senaste är i alla fall att en kolumnist/bloggare anställd av FOX! har blivit sparkad för att ha skrivit en recension på den läckta versionen av filmen.

Fox News fires renegade Wolverine reviewer Roger Friedman | SCI FI Wire
Roger Friedman, the Foxnews.com freelance columnist who posted a review of the pirated X-Men Origins: Wolverine has been fired by the news site, Deadline Hollywood reported. The move was not only condemned by other Web sites but also decried by 20th Century Fox, which is releasing the movie, and News Corp., the parent company of both Fox News and 20th Century Fox.

Roger Ailes, who overseas Fox News, deleted the offending post after he was contacted by 20th Century Fox about it and fired Friedman as a freelance Fox News entertainment writer, the site reported.

The site added that the move was done with the full support of News Corp. "He promoted piracy. He basically suggested that viewing a stolen film is OK, which is absolutely intolerable. So we fired him," a source told the site. "Fox News acted promptly on all fronts."

When the site attempted to reach Friedman for comment, he e-mailed back only to say that he was at the Paul McCartney concert.
