Försöker liksom hålla mig spoilerfri därför tittar/läser jag knappt vad som har postats sen serien startade eftersom jag inte sett något av den.

Wow... eller nåt. Fick den så mycket bättre siffror än en så högkvalitativ *host host* serie som She spies. Det säger ju massor.

Med tanke på att de två avsnitt som han är bokad för inte sänts ännu så skulle jag snarare tippa på att det är andra faktorer (som tex Raimi/Tappert) som skiner igenom. Jag tycker f.ö. att det mesta funkar. Det visuella är ju bara verktyg för att förmedla en story, och än så länge så tycker jag storiesarna har varit klart godkända i alla avsnitt.

Har sett en kort snutt av första avsnittet, tyckte det såg bra ut faktisk. Skal kolla resten om jag kan , har problemer med internetkanalen. jag gillade hende som er Kahlan och även Rickard såg bra ut

National ratings for the second week of Disney-ABC’s Legend of the Seeker were down 31% to a 2.0 following the highly anticipated two-hour premiere, with three million viewers tuning in. Week two of Seeker's ratings was based on measuring the one-hour show in double runs as opposed to week one when the show's entire two-hour premiere was measured. While the show was down overall, it was up in many big cities, including a 200% gain in Kansas City, 50% in Dallas and 37% in Orlando. (Källa)

I'm so excited about this news. Michael Hurst, that wonderful, extremely talented New Zealand actor will be on Legend of the Seeker for Episode 12.

Och innan dess (om infon är riktig från sword-of-truth.com) så kommer vi få se två avsnitt regisserade av honom. Dels nästa avsnitt, 1x8 "Denna", och nummer 11 "Confession". Mycket och se fram emot i Januari mao.

Väntar bara på att LL och ROC ska bli tillfrågade under 2009 för en roll alternativt för att få regissera ett avsnitt eller två. Känns inte som en omöjlighet om man ska gå efter vilka som hittills varit inblandade.

Enligt de mätningar som Sword-of-Truth.com lagt vantarna på så gick Legend of the Seeker upp till 2.4 (från 2.1) i rating och ökade från 3 miljoner till 3.6 miljoner tittare med det 5e "Elixir".

Jag ser det som positivt att det ökat - även om jag har noll koll på vad som anses vara dåligt, OK och bra i amerikansk TV.

Disney-ABC Domestic Television has renewed its fantasy action hour, Legend of the Seeker, on Tribune Broadcasting’s owned stations for next fall, according to Disney-ABC Domestic Television Distribution President Janice Marinelli.

Tribune, which has operated as partner to Disney-ABC on the show from the beginning, owns stations in seven of the top ten markets and representing 35% of the country.

Legend of the Seeker, starring Craig Horner and Bridget Regan, has averaged between a 1.6 and 1.9 live plus same day national household rating since its Nov. 1 premiere. The show is produced by ABC Studios. Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, Spider- Man 2, Spider-Man 3 and The Evil Dead), Rob Tapert (The Grudge, Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Cleopatra 2525), Joshua Donen (The Quick and the Dead), Ned Nalle (production executive for Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys) and Ken Biller (Star Trek: Voyager and Six Degrees) serve as executive producers.

Michael Hurst to Direct more Legend of the Seeker

Sam Raimi and Rob Tappert are keeping their good friend Michael Hurst busy. Last season the Actor/Director appeared in Legend of the Seeker ep 13 REVENANT as Amfortas and also directed DENNA, SACRIFICE, and RECKONING.

It was posted today on Michael's website that he has been signed up to direct several episodes this season for Legend starting with the so far unnamed episode 2×02.

Back in February Craig Horner talked to TheTVADDICT about working with Hurst and here’s what he had to say:

What’s great about Michael is that he’s really theatrical on set and you can see, out of the corner of your eye behind the monitor him just jumping up and down and clapping his hands in the middle of takes. Michael is there every-step of the way and all he cares about are the performances, which is exactly what the show needs. It’s already get such amazing cinematographers and lighting, we just need a good director who makes something out of the scripts and the dialogue and I think that’s why his episodes are so successful, because of his great acting background.

The new season of LEGEND OF THE SEEKER begins filming this next month with new episodes to air in November.

Hurst har gjort några riktigt bra avsnitt av Xena/Herc också (klassiska A Day in the Life tex) och gillade hans avsnitt i säsong 1 och jag ser det som positivt att han återvänder.

Nu är den första säsongen på väg till DVD. Region 1 vill säga, men jag skulle inte bli förvånad om en brittisk (kanske även svensk) utgåva är på gång i samma veva.

On October 13th Disney will release a 5-disc set costing $45.99 SRP, complete with Deleted Scenes and bonus Featurettes "Forging the Sword: Crafting a Legend" and "Words of Truth: A conversation with Terry Goodkind". Yay! Joe LoDuca knipslade till sig en emmy för bästa musik i en TV-Serie!

»The award goes to music composer Joseph LoDuca for his superb score to the first Legend of the Seeker episode, ‘Prophecy’.
LoDuca’s score took out fellow nominees Castle, Ghost Whisperer, The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency, and 24. Bear McCreary’s Battlestar Galactica was snubbed from the nominations.

Är nån intresserad av Legend of the Seeker på Region 1-DVD så kan jag nog fixa den för 402 kronor jämt.

Japp. Jag kan ju få tag på det mesta inom DVD och böcker från USA genom företaget nu för tiden. Fundrar ni att köpa en amerikansk bok eller DVD eller nåt så hör av er till order@levandeljud.se kommer jag att försöka vara billigast i Sverige på just den artikeln. Om det är möjligt. Eftersom det inte är inom butikens område så kommer jag inte att lägga ut grejer på den, men ifall nån vill ha nåt så tar jag gärna hem.

Skulle vilja gå billigare på den där, men marginalerna är jättesmå på den DVD-boxen av nån anledning. Det är dock den svenska momsen som driver upp priset mest... Är så van vid bokmomsen att den "vanliga" alltid chockar mig när jag räknar ut priset..
