"What?! There's a whole tribe of martians in police boxes flying around like this?"

- It has armed Police in scene six
Martha Jones/Freema Agyeman
- She WON'T be in the Christmas Special
- There IS an explanation as to why she looks like Adeola
- She believes she's more on a level with The Doctor compared with Rose
- She will be a medical student
- Original concepts saw Martha as a lesbian and a Victorian maid.
- She is 23
- Mother Francine, father Clive, brother Leo and sister Tish
- Interview with the ONE Show
- She is Torchwood's Adeola's cousin (according to SFX)
- She is Torchwood's Adeola's cousin (according to "Made of Steel" by Terrance Dicks). More Martha information revealed in "Made of Steel" - see this thread for details.
-"There is a different dynamic because the Doctor is not looking for a new best friend. Or at least he thinks he isn't. And Martha's story is very different from Rose's story. Different things will happen in Martha's story throughout the series."(DT Feb 07 Interview)
- According to Phil Collinson “'Martha is a medical doctor, which occassionally means that in some scenes there's more of a scentific shortcut, if you like, between her and the Doctor. She's more middle class, more eductated than Rose was, so occassionally she's able to challenge the Doctor in a way that Rose might not necessarily have done'”
- Martha’ parents are divorcing. Her father has moved in with a 23 year old. Her brother lives with a woman who has a baby. Her sister Tish is very ambitious. Martha is the “peacemaker” of the family.
- When The Doctor comes along, these family domestics become trivial to her. But according to RTD, a gradual arc is “going to bite her in the a--- as it goes on!Its one of those very gradual arcs.”
Captain Jack/John Barrowman
- He won't kiss David
- The Doctor won't necessarily be glad Jack's back from the dead on his basic principles
- He might not instantly recognise the Doctor seeing as how he's regenerated
- The series 3 press release now says that he will only appear in the finale, but Russell has said he will be in 'multiple episodes'
- No explanation for the missing 2 years yet, Russell wants to wait until Steve Moffat writes a Jack episode to explain this.
- It appears he will be in the last 3 episodes. The latest issue of DWM lists the episodes with John Barrowman credited as guest starring in episodes 11, 12 and 13 but not 10 - see upthread
- As of the 16th January, "JB did some filming for episode 11 before starting the pantomime in December. He'll return to film the last two episodes when the panto ends in a couple of weeks."
- He was suddenly taken by the TARDIS at the end of End of Days.
- He will be 'much sassier' this series
Guest starring...
Lucy Davenport, Tom Edden, Natasha Williams, Gayle Telfer Stevens, Daisy Lewis, Travis Oliver, Lenora Crichlow, Jennifer Hennessy, Bridget Turner, Georgine Anderson
Monsters and Villains
- The Plasmavores - blood sucking aliens
- Two villains will return of which one will be quite surprising
- Giant crabs?
- Sea Devils?
- Sontarans?
- A book coming out in 2007 is called Sting of the Zygons by Stephen Cole...
- A race called The Carrionites have been confirmed by David Tennant
- also a hint at a possible new monster, 'the Toclafane' although this last one is by no means certain DWM 379
Mister Saxon
- The running theme of 2007, mentioned before, he is believed to be Harriet Jones's successor
Love and Monsters - Kennedy's newspaper cover read 'Saxon Leads Polls with 64 per cent'
The Runaway Bride - He gave the order to shoot down the Racnoss spaceship
Captain Jack Harkness - The poster 'Vote Saxon' is visible on the door of the dance hall Jack and Toshiko investigated
- RTD says Saxon is building up to “big, big plots” that he’s known about for two years
The Master
- The cast of Life on Mars let it slip twice that John Simm will be in the third series playing The Master. First on Soccer AM, then again by co-star Philip Glenister at an awards ceremony saying he was “perfect ” for the role and can "really play evil", adding "you should see him at 7.30 in the morning".
-
Also this year
- "we go to Elizabethan England," "we go to the year 5 billion and 43," "distant planets, a distant spaceship," "There is a monster from Doctor Who's past that nobody will be expecting to see again - there's a little Newsround exclusive!"
- RTD in SFX - “There’s that moment of the Doctor saying ‘It stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space’, and I love that moment. And actually I think it’s only the second time he’s ever said it. He never had to say it to Jackie; he didn’t explain it to Donna properly either. So you look at that and you think, ‘It’s only the second time’, and if you’re eight years old you just soak that stuff in – it’s lovely.”
http://www.gallifrey....d.php?t=119897
- RTD: “There are no massive changes to it as a series. In some senses it is more of the same – which is brilliant, because you’re dealing with a show that’s the same every week”
- Casting in unknown episodes
Jonathon Cecil as "Reporter", Justin Walters as "Shamus" in the Dalek eps, Amy-Louise Baker as "Village Dancer", and Alwyn Scott as another vilage dancer - the directors are different for these two listings, though. Charlotte Fortune as "Susan" (!) in one of Clarke's eps, Susan Cazenove as "Junior Doctor" - working with Martha, perhaps? Sophie Turner as "Vicar" in one of Palmer's eps, [url="http://uk.castingcal...uid=48969"]Mark Gregory as an Elizabethan actor
And oddities: John Sheppard, who it lists as "Nurse" for Doctor Who 3, but gives director as Euros Lyn.
There's heaps more on The BBC Television page on that site, but the 2006 casting is tricky, since it's a mixture of S2 and S3 roles
RUMOURS/UNCONFIRMED
Gallifrey????
According to this thread we’ll see “Gallifrey in flashback” and The Doctor “in a way we have never seen before”. That we will see “we will see the doctor on gallifrey as a young boy/man”
Unconfirmed script info

Bra avsnitt.

Avsnitt 2: "The Shakespeare Code"
Shall I compare thee to a Summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And Summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And oft' is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd:
But thy eternal Summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wanderest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest:
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

Här är han i Much Ado About Nothing t ex:

YAY! Efter ungefär 40 år - The Macra is back!!!
