Samson Reynolds is the head of a working unit in a futuristic refinery. It's a place of dreamless sleep, sudden awakenings and the hum of cooling devices. A man confronting harsh working conditions, giving orders, taking care of work as usual.

But something strange is going on...

"The Light of the Beast" is the author's metaphor of hell: A place of suicide workers, angels and demons taking their shape in a material context. It's a hellish march against the nature of reality: Supernatural occurrences, suppressed memories and Alien wolfs lusting for blood.

Somewhere in the past lies the key to the future: An adventure beyond time and space, giving birth to a dialogue between desperate searchers, going deeper, uncovering the past, changing perspectives and doing battle against the Dark Lord himself.

Is there a way out of hell?

I have translated my novella to english because of the beauty of the english language, better than before (Also in content). It's available for download in PDF-format only, due to the limitations of other formats (The text just looks wrong in other formats!).

På ett avlägset raffinaderi i universums utkanter vaknar Samson Reynolds upp efter en drömlös dvala... Solljuset kommer in från utrymmet i mellangården och färgar rummet i guld... Samson klär på sig, stämplar in och kommer till arbetslokalen, där brinnande ugnar puttrar frenetiskt, där kraven från ledningen höjts flera snäpp... Men en arbetare vid namn Richard Edwards pratar gott om den nya situationen... Samson Reynolds förfäras och en död kropp hittas...

"Odjurets Sken" är författarens metafor för det sanna helvetet: En berättelse som utspelar sig i en värld fylld av odjur, med arbetets tortyr och psykologisk terror: Ett mytiskt berättande som för iväg läsaren till en plats där drömmar besannas men där ingen slipper undan i slutändan...
