What's the new vampire film you're attached to?
The film is called "The First Vampire". This historical/epic/horror, will revolutionize the concept of Vampirism and its mythology. The director/writer, Jason Todd Ipson previously had a career as a doctor/plastic surgeon. In his early medical studies, he researched the origins of the true Vampire legend. The Vampire history has its origins in 1300's Sweden. The film is scheduled to shoot off the coast of Norway and in the Czech Republic in February, 2005.

I hear it's based on a short-film, is that right?
The director/writer of The First Vampire originally did a short film on the same subject, with the intention of pursuing a big budget feature at a later date.
